That’s why we’ve partnered with Saahas Zero Waste to provide a collection and recycling programme for our customers to be able to simply recycle their empties at any of the L’OCCITANE participating boutiques.
About Big Little Things
Big Little Things is L’OCCITANE India’s 1st ever recycling programme! Our goal is to mobilise more people to make a big impact on the environment with the little things we do.
As part of our effort towards our reducing waste commitment, we believe that recycling will keep nature free from pollution & help achieve a circular economy where each material can have a second life.
In partnership with a social enterprise, Saahas Zero Waste, you can now recycle your empties at select L’OCCITANE boutiques all across India!
Do Your Part Today
Step 1 :Wash and dry your empties thoroughly. Cut open and rinse plastic tubes so you don’t waste any product inside!
Step 2 : Drop off your full-sized beauty empties from L’Occitane or PET bottles from any brand at selected L’OCCITANE stores.
Step 3 : Our beauty advisors will check if your empties are recyclable, clean and dried.
Step 4 : Receive 1 stamp for each empty accepted on you digital recycling stamp card.

We currently do not accept these beauty empties:
Make-up products, hair styling products, toothpaste, mouth wash, feminine wash, nail polishes, nail polish removers, eye lotions, eye drops, hand sanitizers, ampoules, consumable products as well as any beauty product in an aerosol can.
Do note that our Beauty Advisors may choose not to accept any empties within their discretion, if the empty is deemed not possible to recycle or if the empty has not been properly cleaned and dried.

Can I only recycle L’OCCITANE empties?
You may recycle PET bottles from ANY brand in our recycling programme!
At L’OCCITANE, our recycling programme is different than other beauty brands because we accept empties PET bottles from all beauty brands, not just L’OCCITANE empties. Our main aim is to reduce waste and plastic usage in the environment hence we encourage you to bring back your beauty empties to recycle with us and be rewarded for it!
