In 1997, Braille was added to the packaging of most products. Every year since 2000, L'OCCITANE has sold a new solidarity product to raise funds to help its partner NGOs fight avoidable blindness around the world. In 2006, the L'OCCITANE Foundation was created to bring together and develop the philanthropic actions undertaken by the brand, including its support for eye care projects. The company's subsidiaries also play a crucial role in the brand's commitment to sight. They get involved every year by supporting projects in partnership with local associations in their respective countries. L'OCCITANE, its subsidiaries and its Foundation have already helped 15 million people and have set the goal of reaching 20 million eye care beneficiaries by 2025.

Sightsavers India, or Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind, is a development organisation working with partners to reduce avoidable blindness and promote equality of opportunity for people with disabilities.

They work in a sustainable way to promote lasting change by strengthening existing health systems, seeking to advocate with and influence governments, and by demonstrating best practices.

Step 4: Double the Impact Together, your ₹10 and L'Occitane's ₹10 make a total donation of ₹20.

At L'Occitane, we appreciate your commitment to making a positive impact on the world. To ensure transparency and clarity, we would like to outline the terms and conditions associated with your contribution towards supporting Sightsavers.

1. Mutual Contribution: For every contribution made by you of ₹10 or above, L'Occitane will match your contribution for a maximum of ₹10 per transaction.
2. Contribution Channels: You can contribute through L'Occitane's official website and at any L'Occitane exclusive brand stores. Find a Store Near You.
3. Non-Refundable Contribution: Donations and contributions made are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. Any order refund requests entertained against such orders will omit the donated amount. The sole purpose is for a noble cause.
4. No Minimum Purchase Requirement: Contributions can be made on purchases of any amount and the customer can choose to donate any amount they wish.
5. Dispute Resolution: In case of any dispute, the decision of L'Occitane management will be final and binding on all parties involved.
6. Beneficiary: The total contribution will be directed towards supporting Sightsavers.
7. All existing brand terms and conditions and policies apply.

Dispute Resolution Clause: In the event of any dispute concerning these Terms and Conditions, encompassing all rights, obligations, and actions envisaged herein, the laws of India shall govern, and the courts of New Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Any dispute arising from your visit to the L’Occitane India website shall be exclusively referred to the sole arbitrator appointed by the Managing Director of L’Occitane India Private Limited, in accordance with the law. This clause aims to provide a clear legal framework for dispute resolution, emphasizing adherence to legal processes and ensuring fairness for all parties involved.
